Eh?

Yesterday my run took nearly 26 minutes, today 24:50 still not good enough but hey at least I'm running. Off to get washed and changed then get ready for teaching later, I'm hoping my car is repaired soon and will cost £25 instead of £300 but the way our luck goes it would be a miracle! If it's not ready then a jolly jaunt on the bus is required to my group from hell.

Sprints tomorrow then a rest day Friday, have a good day all.

Blowing the cobwebs away

I've been away with the kids for a few days so no opportunity to run, although walked round Bedford Park a few times. Got back home yesterday afternoon and absolutely shattered!

I was determined to go for a run this morning after dropping the kids off at nursery so I made sure my kit was ready last night, I had a couple of lovely running tops for my birthday on Friday so I wore one of those.

Despite having stomach cramps for several days I actually felt good running this morning, I just did my usual route which is 2.29 miles it's frustrating that it took 25.52 mins to do but that time will improve.

I've entered the Race for Life at Rhyl on 31st May, my best (and still not good enough) time is 28:30 so lots of speed work to do before then. My sponsorship page is http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/evabrewer, will have to get Sorelimbs to take a photo of me.

Feeling great, have to go to work now...bah!

The sun is shining....

Therefore I have no excuses not to get my backside out running (plus the rest of my lazy body).

So I started yesterday and ran for a pitiful 2 miles, then did 40 sit-ups, 10 press-ups - which I am pants at, and 1 x 60sec Plank. Repeated today. I'll do the same again tomorrow then I'm away for a few days with the kids so I won't have an opportunity to go out running until Monday when we get home.

I'm taking the kids to Bedford (my home town) to see friends and family, Sorelimbs the **** couldn't get the time off work so enduring a 4 1/2 drive with the littlies by myself plus 4 nights away. Hopefully the weather will be good whilst we're there as Bedford Park is really close to where we're staying so a few walks round there will keep them occupied.

It's the Race for Life in 6 weeks time so hopefully there will still be places available when I go to book a spot tomorrow, it's 5km along the sea front and is always fun. My best time to date is 28:30 so lots of time to get that down to a better result. I then need to think about my next goal, I have one in mind but I don't want to mention anythign until I'm more consistant with my runs and fitness.

See you later Ev x
